Enjoy helping others? We are looking for friendly, self-motivated individuals with excellent people skills to help provide an outstanding customer experience. Our preferred candidate will have 2+ years of experience in automotive.

The principal responsibility of this position is to promptly and courteously serve dealership customers and assist sales staff by delivering quality accessory sales presentations. Coordinate product installations by working closely with sales, service and parts department personnel. Individual initiative is required to develop compelling presentation strategies.

You must be a self-starter with patience and tact who can relate well with dealership customers and staff. Dealership sales hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., M-F, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Some schedule flexibility will be required to meet the needs of our sales team and valued customers.

Job Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Promptly and courteously serve dealership customers in person and over the phone by “Being so effective that you are able to be helpful others.” Including:

  • Develop and deliver accessory sales presentations.
  • Manage accessory displays on vehicles and showroom
  • Keep current with changing trends, competition, and other area auto sport resources
  • Work closely with dealership marketing manager to promote & market accessories via social media/walk around video
  • Investigate and develop new products to meets needs of dealership customers
  • Conduct post accessory installation inspections with customers and sales staff
  • Educate sales staff about new products while building awareness of existing product lines
  • Promote accessory sales by conducting meetings with sales staff to build product awareness
  • Coordinate all activities with designated accounting personnel
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Other duties may be assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional service when visiting with prospective clients.
  • Previous sales and/or customer service experience is a huge plus.
  • Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
  • Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
  • Have quality customer service skills
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Must have a clean & valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to submit to a drug screen prior to employment.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and clean driving record that is acceptable to our policies.
  • Maintaining professional appearance.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Communicate effectively both in-person to discover the customer's needs.
  • Serve as an advocate for Gary Lang Auto Group by sharing what makes us the smart choice.
  • Facilitating the availability of options to customize the ownership experience.
  • Schedule the installation of sold aftermarket products.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships and demonstrating teamwork.
  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom.
  • Report to Management regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analysis 
  • Previous dealership experience helpful
  • Ability to display a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing
  • Possess strong communication and customer service skills
